My name is Jolynn Paige, and I am passionate about this purple plate project.

Why?

Because I can think of no other reason for our presence on Earth but to reflect the love of God that is within us.

We need to love each other, and, through the unique gift idea of the Purple Plate, I'm hoping others will join me in making a habit out of expressing positive affirmations, including our feelings of joy, appreciation, and love for one another.

We started using the purple plate in our family as a tradition and way of insuring that as our days together pass, we make a habit out of expressing our love and appreciation for each other.

Positive Self-Affirmations and Empowerment Affirmations

We put the purple plate in our cupboard with the rest of our everyday dishes. When it comes to the top of the stack, it gets set on the table at someone's spot, and then during dinner, each family member takes turns saying positive affirmations about the person who has the plate.

You were sent here by God to reflect his goodness. To love others around you. Too often, we focus on what is wrong with others and ourselves, while we neglect finding the beauty in each other.
